What is it?
We need to create a theme song for a series of kids books for children learning English as a second language. This is a battle of the bands style contest to help promote the kids book.
Who wins？
Get noticed!
Each band creates their own original version of the song and then sends us a copy. We then upload the file to our public YouTube channel. People vote by likes on your song and the song with the most likes wins. Simple!

Don't panic you still have LOADS of time. Submissions will be accepted until August 31 2023. We will announce the winner mid October giving you time to get noticed!

Just as in real life eating glue isn't advised, there are rules designed to ensure that the contest is fair to everyone and make sure that the content is appropriate for kids.

In order to join the contest, please register for FREE by using the form below. You will need to provide some basic information about your band.

Once you have completed the form, you will receive an email with your BAND CODE. You will need this to claim your prize money. Once you are registered you can download all the official audio and lyrics so you can get started. Good luck!

  1. The winner will be determined by viewer voting.
  2. Only videos uploaded to the official YouTube channel are eligible.
  3. The original lyrics of the song cannot be changed and must be included in the contestant's version.
  4. Additional English lyrics are allowed but must be appropriate for children.
  5. Registration on the website is required to participate.
  6. Any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification.
  7. Solo artists are also allowed to participate.
  8. The performance of the song can be recorded on video.
  9. Participants can create their own original music video.
  10. The video content must be appropriate for children and will be reviewed before being accepted for submission.
  11. Participants must legally be 18 or older.
  12. Only original songs are eligible.
  13. There are time restrictions on the music and performance of 6 minutes.
  14. There is a deadline for entries which may change from time to time.
  15. Participants must promote the contest.
